Horsforth Village Museum opened its doors in 1988 and is situated on The Green at the heart of the old village of Horsforth.
Entirely voluntary run, the museum is dedicated to preserving the history of Horsforth. Horsforth was once described as the largest village in England, and to this day, has managed to retain a strong community, village-esque identity. The museum aims to reflect this heritage in its exhibits, which draw from all aspects of life in and around Horsforth.
