The Annual Town Meeting is scheduled by the Chairman of Horsforth Town Council for the benefit of the community of Horsforth. The meeting gives all Horsforth residents the opportunity to hear about the work that the Council has done throughout the year on their behalf.
Residents can also celebrate the awards given the Good Citizen and Young Achiever and speak directly to Council on things they feel are important, whether this is a community event, raising issues, getting more involved with Council work or sharing ideas on how to ensure Horsforth remains the most popular place to live in Leeds.
The law states that the Annual Town Meeting must be held between 1st March and 1st June and we usually hold ours in May.
The Annual Town Meeting is being held on 9th May 2024 at 7pm.
